Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BayutAPI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. The Service is provided by BayutAPI ("we," "our," or "us") and is distributed through the RapidAPI marketplace.

2. Description of Service

BayutAPI provides a REST API that delivers structured UAE real estate data including property listings, agent and agency information, location data, amenities, and new development projects. The API is accessed through RapidAPI and returns data in JSON format.

3. Account and API Access

  • You must create a RapidAPI account and subscribe to a BayutAPI plan to access the API.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys.
  • You must not share, publish, or expose your API keys in client-side code, public repositories, or any publicly accessible location.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API key.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the API to engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the raw API access to third parties
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or any security measures
  • Use the API in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
  • Use automated tools to exceed your plan's request limits
  • Misrepresent your use of the API or your relationship with BayutAPI
  • Use the data to create a competing API service

5. Rate Limits and Usage

Your API usage is subject to the rate limits and request quotas defined by your subscription plan. The Basic (free) plan enforces a hard limit — requests are blocked after the quota is reached. Paid plans use soft limits with overage billing. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access if usage patterns indicate abuse.

6. Data Usage

  • You may use data obtained through the API in your applications, websites, analyses, and reports.
  • You should not present the data in a way that implies it is your own original data without attribution.
  • You must comply with all applicable data protection laws when handling data received through the API.
  • You may cache API responses to reduce request counts, but cached data should be refreshed regularly to ensure accuracy.

7. Billing and Payments

All billing is handled through RapidAPI. Subscription fees, overage charges, and payment processing are governed by RapidAPI's terms. Please refer to RapidAPI's Terms of Service for billing-related policies.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the API. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Intellectual Property

The BayutAPI service, documentation, website content, and branding are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our documentation or website content without permission. Your use of data obtained through the API does not transfer any intellectual property rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may cancel your subscription at any time through RapidAPI. Upon termination, your right to access the API ceases immediately.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
